The number of migrants coming to Tunisia from Libya has risen steadily in 2017. Many migrants have been left with no other option than to enter Tunisia in order to flee Libya in search of security and possibly a return to their countries of origin. Rising German bookings spark hopes for an upturn this year. Tunisia has welcomed tentative signs of a long-awaited revival.
