Tunisian tourism is still a vital sector and is ready for high season
The 23rd edition of the International Tourism Market (MIT) tourism trade fair opens on Wednesday, April 5 at El Kram Exhibition Centre in Tunis.
The three-day trade fair is destined to the professional of the tourism industry, but a large public also takes interest to its 150 stands representing 350 companies in the sector.
The trade fair also includes a range of small fairs namely the Tunisia Horeca Expo (featuring tools and services for hotels and restaurants); the Tunisia Spa Expo (baths, seawater therapy, and spas); the Tunisia Boat Show (yachts and the nautical market); and the Tunisia Golf & Sports Show.
Early indicators for 2017 season are positive, according to MIT official Afif Kchouk during a meeting with the press.
He said he wants to show public opinion and the world that despite some difficulties, Tunisian tourism is still a vital sector and is ready for high season.
