Tunisia launches 93 green start-ups

The ministers of Local Affairs and Environment and Vocational Training and Employment, on Friday, signed co-operation agreements to launch the Green Start up project providing for the creation of 93 projects in the field of green economy and sustainable development, with an overall investment of 6.5 million dinars (MD). Tobruk call for Tunisian boycott after Tunis customs seize containers

A top Tobruk businessman is demanding a boycott of Tunisian goods after describing Tunisian customs as pirates for seizing containers from two Libya-bound vessels. Ibrahim Al-Jarari, chairman of the Tobruk Chamber of Commerce and Industry, last month called for a ban on Tunisian ships entering Libya ports.  Now he is extending his demand to include Tunisian goods. Tunisia exports 50 thousand tons of olive oil to end of March

Tunisia has exported 50 thousand tons of olive oil, worth 500 million dinars (MD), from the beginning of the season (November) till the end of March. The objective is to export 70 thousand tons with a value of 700 MD, said National Oil Board CEO Chokri Bayoudh, adding that olive oil production during this season (2016/2017) is expected to reach 100 thousand tons.
