Tunisia to take part in 64th edition of Fancy Food Show in New York

Tunisia’s participation in the 64th edition of the Fancy Food Show 2017, which will take place from June 25 to 27, 2017 in New York, was at the heart of an information day held at CEPEX on “access to American food processing market.”

The day, led by American and Tunisian experts, aims to supervise the Tunisian companies participating in the show and to support them in their efforts to capture the US market, in association with the Ministry of Industry and trade, and through the supervision of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) Business and Competitiveness Reform Project (BRCP).

According to a statement published by the Export Promotion Center (CEPEX), some 30 Tunisian companies specializing in olive oil, dates, pasta, harissa, canned food and other products will participate in this fair.

 Over the past few months, these companies have benefited from the support and guidance of Tunisian and US experts in sales and marketing, in order to promote the success of their participation in this fair.

Tasting sessions and meetings with professionals will be organized as part of this international fair that will bring together about 2500 exhibitors from 55 countries and will welcome around 50 thousand visitors.
