“Four Seasons Hotel Tunis is a seaside oasis, yet conveniently located for those doing business in the city,” said general manager Ahmed Khalaf. “We also look forward to becoming the preferred choice of local guests.”
Pitched as “bringing a new kind of luxury to this part of North Africa”, the hotel includes a spa, four restaurants and the city’s largest children’s club and teen centre.
Introductory offers in March 2018 include 20% savings on all room categories, with rates from €205pn. The Stay Longer promotion includes a complimentary third night for every two consecutive paid nights in selected suites.
Speaking at the recent ttgluxury Seminar in London, Simon Casson, Four Seasons’ president, hotel operations, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said: “We are working with Mabrouk Group, which is Tunisia’s pre-eminent investment group, and when we commit to a destination we are in it for the long haul.”
Anantara is also forging ahead with plans for a 93-room hotel in the south-west Tunisian city of Tozeur, used as a hub for Saharan adventures. Anantara Tozeur Resort will open in mid-2018.
