Renewable energy – conference Res4Med in Tunis on June 27

‘Renewables and infrastructure for clean energy transition of Tunisia: The Italian journey on renewable energies: Excellency and Best Practices’ is the title of a conference that will take place in Tunis on June 27, organized by the Italian embassy and Res4Med&Africa.

The event will focus on Italian excellence and good practices in the energy sector, in particular in renewable energy, to highlight the international experience of Italian companies.

”The energy relations between Italy and Tunisia are excellent and longstanding”, said Italian ambassador in Tunis, Lorenzo Fanara. He noted that ”our companies cooperate with Tunisian partners in each sector of the energy market.

The support for renewable energy in particular is a concrete expression of Italy’s economic diplomacy and this seminar is a further occasion to strengthen the cooperation potential between the Italian private sector and Tunisian renewable energy operators”.

Res4Med&Africa, with over five years of experience in dialogue on policy and regulations, technical support and capacity building, is one of the most active associations in promoting renewable energy in Mediterranean countries and the sub-Saharan area.

The conference in Tunis will be attended by Tunisian institutions and the main actors in the energy sector of the Mediterranean, associations and the private sector.

It will be an occasion to analyze the flow of investments in renewable energy and infrastructure and the positive impact of the industry of renewable energy in creating employment and its impact on local industries and entrepreneurs.

”This event increasingly highlights the interest of the association and all Res4Med members to invest in Tunisia and support the country in this important energy transition”, the secretary general of Res4Med, Roberto Vigotti, told ANSA.
