Tunisian Foreign Minister, Khemais Jhinaoui, confirmed that the situation at Ras Jedir border crossing is returning to normal after reopening the way for Libyan passengers.
Jhinoui said in a press statement on Sunday that he had held discussions with the Libyan Foreign Minister, Mohamed Siyala regarding the crisis of Libyan passengers travelling to and from Tunisia between Ras jedir and Ben Guerdane town.
Earlier, The Deputy Chairman of Presidential Council, Ahmed Mietieq, stated that there was a possibility of a closure of the land border with Tunisia in the event of continued harassment of Libyan travelers.
