Three road shows to present business opportunities in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) will be hosted by THINK AFRICA Platform Members, Industry and Innovation Promotion Agency Reports (APII) on its site.
These Road Shows will take place on July 3rd in Sfax, on July 4th in Sousse and on July 5th in Tunis. B to B meetings are planned between Tunisian operators and senior Congolese buyers.
Particular interest will be given to the sectors of the pharmaceutical-human drugs and health services, building materials, building and public works and electrical components industries, in order to study the expectations of buyers in the DRC in these areas.
In this connection, Tunisian entrepreneurs working in these sectors in the DRC will present their testimonies, APII said.
These road shows are part of the Platform “Think Africa” component of the PEMA project which aims to support Tunisian SMEs to access new export markets in sub-Saharan Africa, by strengthening support services conform to the needs, as well as export initiatives and consortia.
The PEMA is funded and supported by the German International Development Cooperation Agency (GIZ), in collaboration with the Export Promotion Centre (CEPEX), the Ministries of Trade and Foreign Affairs, employers’ organisations, regional chambers of commerce and the African Economic Chamber.
