Tunis Culture City hosts ‘European researchers’ night’

Tunisia will host for the first time the ‘European night of researchers’  on September 28.

Since 2005 the European Commission promoted this initiative, which involved each year thousands of researchers and research institutions in all European countries to promote scientific culture and research worldwide.

Conferences, scientific labs, educational games, debates with researchers and various activities combining science, art and culture are scheduled during the event.

Organized by the Tunisian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the event will provide the opportunity to the public, in particular high school and university students, to get acquainted with the activities carried out in Tunisia and international projects in cooperation with member states of the European Union.

The European researchers’ night’ is coordinated by the European unit of program management (Ugpe), the national center of cinema and image (Cnci), in cooperation with the national agency for the promotion of scientific research (Anpr), with associations of Tunisian civil society (Association research in action, Foundation youth for science, Association Jeunes Sciences and the Association of scientific research and innovation in computers – Asri).
