First Tunisian-Egyptian Business Council held in Tunis

The Confederation of Tunisian Citizen Enterprises (CONECT) and the Association of Egyptian Businessmen held the first session of the Tunisian-Egyptian Business Council Tuesday in Tunis.

The Council aimed to enhance bilateral economic dialogue between Tunisia and Egypt to make development means available for trade and promote investment in both countries, CONECT, said in a statement.

The council provides the occasion for the Egyptian and Tunisian businessmen to take stock of the investment climate and bolster economic cooperation between the two countries.

The communication between Council officials is an opportunity to overcome the difficulties that businessmen face so as to encourage the creation of joint ventures, the promotion of exports and trade.

An annual meeting has to be held annually to look at the urgent economic issues to inform the governments and economic and financial bodies of both countries to interfere.

The Tunisian-Egyptian Business Council was held on the fringes of the FUTURALLIA Forum, due to be held on November 14 to 16, 2018, in Tunis.
