“FUTURALLIA” opens in Tunis: 650 entrepreneurs from 30 countries and 6,000 B2B meetings

The 22nd edition of the “FUTURALLIA TUNISIA 2018” Forum opened on Monday in Tunis. It is held for the first time in an African country.

This forum is held under the high patronage of the Prime Minister Youssef Chahed, who made the official opening with attendance of the government members and eminent experts and personalities of the economic and financial world.

This business forum has a remarkable participation of over 650 business leaders from more than 30 countries: Algeria, Germany, Belgium, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, China, Congo (DRC), Ivory Coast, Djibouti, Egypt, Spain, France, Equatorial Guinea, Italy, Jordan, Madagascar, Mali, Monaco, Morocco, Niger, Poland, Qatar, Senegal, Tunisia, Turkey, Libya, Luxembourg …

The main sectors concerned by the forum are: Aeronautics – Food industry – Automotive, Metallurgy, Manufactured goods – Biotechnologies, chemistry, plastics and materials – Call centers, E-commerce, Construction, public works – Design and creation – Electronics, optics , mechatronics, electrical components – Energy – Education, research – Environment and sustainable development, habitat and wood – Mass distribution – Printing and publishing, communication, advertising, media – Food industry and agriculture, wine sector – Digital, Information technology and of communication – Promotional and development organizations – Human and animal health, cosmetology – Business services, consultancy and consultancies – Sports, leisure, culture, tourism – Textiles, clothing, personal equipment – Transport and logistics

The program of the forum includes over 6,000 B2B meetings between participants, distributed according to a schedule of 10 to 16 pre-scheduled appointments.

Besides, 800 m² exhibition spaces are planned to highlight the products and services of the participating companies and partners.

Given its role as a citizen, CONECT has put at the disposal of the artisans of Medenine an exhibition space to allow them to promote their products at this international forum.

In addition, an innovation village on 100 m² is available to a selection of startup to facilitate their access to international.

A roundtable on investment opportunities in Tunisia was held in the presence of Zied Ladhari, Minister of Investment Development and International Cooperation.

The gathering provides the opportunity to promote the business climate in Tunisia as well as infrastructure projects under the Public-Private Partnership in the presence of heads of foreign delegations.

The FUTURALLIA TUNISIA 2018 Forum will be closed by an official evening during which the women manager of the year will be honoured in the categories of the public sector, NGOs and Associations and the private sector.

This Forum is the reference business meeting that will strengthen the Tunisian-foreign tripartite partnerships for Africa, especially as Tunisia has just joined the COMESA area which has nearly 500. 000, 000 inhabitants.
