Announced earlier this year, the $500 million loan agreement committed by the African Import-Export Bank (Afreximbank) to boost Tunisia’s trade and investment with the rest of Africa has finally been signed. EU provides Tunisia with €150 million for economic recovery

The European Union approved Monday a €150 million disbursement to Tunisia, New Europe reported. This is the second of three planned disbursements under the second Macro-Financial Assistance programme proposed following the terrorist attacks of 2015 and were adopted in 2016, the same source said.
