The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has signed a partnership with the national telecommunications operator, Tunisie Telecom.
This agreement – initialled on Thursday, November 25 at a ceremony held at the Ministry’s headquarters in the presence of Minister of Higher Education, Slim Khalbous, and CEO of Tunisie Telecom, Mohamed Fadhel Kraiem – consolidates the policy of developing, modernising and digitalising the services provided by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the benefit of students and all stakeholders in the academic world.
On occasion, Slim Khalbous said that this partnership agreement would enrich and diversify the digitized services offered to students, teachers and university administrative staff with interesting content and preferential rates.
Indeed, under this partnership, students will benefit from a unique and advantageous rate on calls to all networks as well as a preferential weekly package giving the right to a mobile Internet connection and to playful and informative content, in this case TTPRESS the catalogue of Tunisian and international magazines and newspapers with adapted reading, TTGames the video game catalogue and the music streaming service.
Students will also benefit from significant discounts on mobile packs in all Tunisie Telecom commercial spaces.
This agreement also provides for a commitment by the Ministry and the telecommunications operator to co-develop the “Pass-Etudiant” platform, payment and reload application to enable students to buy and reload their SIM card and other services provided by Tunisie Telecom online.
For teachers and administrative staff, both partners have planned a mobile offer and attractive 4G offers.
Mohamed Fadhel Kraiem stated, in this sense, that this partnership was part of Tunisie Telecom’s strategy to digitalize its services and part of its social responsibility policy of offering information and entertainment services at affordable prices.
Tunisie Télécom will also support the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the organization of various events for the benefit of students.
