Another Well-Deserved Distinction for Triopmhe Thuccabor in BIOLNOVELLO Award

Triomphe Thuccabor brand won an “Extra Gold” medal on Saturday in Bari, Italy in the 11th edition of the BIOL NOVELLO International Award, the international competition for organic EVOO oils of the new season, after taking part in this competition with one of the organic extra virgin olive oils product of the Ben Ismail Domain.

Triomphe Thuccabor of the Ben Ismail Farm in Toukabeur, Beja Governorate, represents Tunisia as the only Arab and African nation among the countries distinguished in this competition, Spain, Italy, Greece, Mediterranean and world leaders in olive growing.

Triomphe Thuccabor continued its impressive winning streak by snatching an award in the TOP 13 rank of the best organic extra virgin olive oils for the 2019-2020 Season.

The EVOO Triomphe Thuccabor comes from olives grown in the Ben Ismail Farm, in the region of Toukabeur, whose former name is Thuccabor, at an altitude of 600 meters compared to the sea,  with an exceptional microclimate between two adjacent hills.

This is part of a third-generation family business raised in the olive oil sector, the Ben Ismail family made their dream comes true by exporting their olive oil overseas, thanks to their longstanding experience. “High-quality EVOO and “Triomphe Organic Ultra Premium” finally ready for a long journey for Canada, France, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the last destination Finland”, Maher Ben Ismail noted in his facebook page.

In addition, the ownership of their own modern olive mill with high standard technology allowed them to be proud to earn an international recognition through many awards not only now in the BIOLNOVELLO Award but other competitions namely the 2019 Los Angeles International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition by being crowned among the best international renowned olive oil brand producers along with a gold medal at the competition for the best extra virgin olive oil in Tunisia in the fruity green medium organic category organized by the Tunisian National Olive Oil Office (ONH) and sponsored by the International Olive Oil Council (IOC) and the gold medal of the London International Olive Oil Quality Competition (IOOC) in April 2017.

Triomphe won the special prize Extra Gold by being at the TOP 13 ranking of best oils in the world. An even greater pride felt because Tunisia is participating for the first time in this competition”, Maher Ben Ismail said on his Facebook page. “I can say that we are among the best in the world now”, he added.

Created in 2014, the BIOL NOVELLO Prize is a competition meant for organic extra virgin olive oil of the new season, in the Mediterranean countries, produced before November 15 each year.

This prize is intended to help producers to promote olive oil on the market in a timely manner and to provide an effective indication to families.

Participation in Bio NOVELLO makes it possible to control the quality of the samples and assess the quality of the product in order to correct and improve the production and storage process of the samples before participating in the International BIOL Prize.
