VERMEG donates 1,500,000 TND to1818 National Fund to underpin State efforts

Vermeg donated on Wednesday some 1,500,000 TND to the 1818 National Fund to underpin State efforts in curbing the spread of the COVIID-19 in Tunisia.

“VERMEG joins the collective efforts to combat the Coronavirus pandemic outbreak in Tunisia, and contributes with an amount of 1,500,000 TND to the benefit of the 1818 national fund”, said VERMEG CEO, Badreddine Ouali in his Facebook page.

“This participation is part of the support to the Ministry of Health, to deal with the spread of this virus. It confirms once again our commitment as a socially responsible company”, he added.

A fund to combat COVID-19 has been created to limit its economic and social impact on a national scale, the Finance Ministry announced in a press release recently.

The resources of this fund will be devoted to supporting the efforts of the State to slow down the spread of this pandemic and limit its economic, social and health consequences.

According to the Finance Ministry, all donations will be entirely paid into this fund, without deduction of taxes or courier fees.
