Tunisia to reopen borders to tourist starting June 27

After more than three months with its borders being locked down, Tunisia will reopen its sea, land and air borders to tourists from on starting June 27. “The National Committee to Combat the COVID-19 decided at its meeting under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Elyes Fakhfakh to allow inter-city travel starting June 4 and to re-open land, air and sea borders on June 27,” TAP reported. Saida Zemzemi, Environment journalist, won the second prize for the best article on biodiversity on the occasion of World Environment Day. Saida Zemzemi founded the first media institution in the environmental field years ago, where she runs the “Albiaanews” (Environment News) website and magazine, in addition to presenting a radio program to one of the national radio stations. Arab Monetary Fund to provide loans of 98$ mln to Tunisia

The Arab Monetary Fund, a regional lender, has agreed to provide loans of  $98 million to Tunisia to help it deal with the coronavirus crisis.
