Tui cancels more June departures (Travel Weekly)

Tui has cancelled another tranche of holidays because of “ongoing uncertainty”, Travel Weekly reports.

“Unfortunately we had to cancel all holidays to the following red and amber destinations” up to and including June 13: Aruba, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece – Crete (Chania), Halkidiki, Kefalonia, Preveza, Samos, Santorini, Skiathos, Thassos, Zante – Italy, Jamaica Spain – mainland Spain, Formentera, Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca, La Palma – and Tanzania”, Travel Weekly quoted Tui.

It also said all Tui Lakes & Mountains holidays are cancelled up to and including June 13.

Another tranche of holidays have been cancelled up to and including June 27, to these destinations: Bulgaria, Cape Verde, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Mexico, Morocco, Tunisia and Turkey.

The operator said: “All customers impacted by these cancellations will be contacted directly and will be able to request a full cash refund, or to change to a later date or alternative holiday and receive a booking incentive.

“If we need to cancel any future holidays because of updated Government guidance, we will be in touch directly and aim to give customers at least seven days’ notice,” Tui indicated.
