Tunisian Insurtech Startup Avidea Raises $696k in Pre-Series A round

The Tunisian startup AVIDEA, announced that it has completed a Pre-Series A round of 2 million dinars led by one of the main private equity investors in Tunisia, Capsa Capital Partners, and the specialized investment fund 216 CAPITAL FUND I managed by the management company 216 CAPITAL VENTURES, ffnews reports.

This funding round will be allocated to strengthen the AVIDEA team with new talent, develop the functional scope of its products and search for new markets. The products currently offered by AVIDEA, namely DigiClaim and DigiFraud, respectively for the digitalization of the automobile disaster and the fight against fraud, are already validated and in production at its customers, the startup is now moving towards a decisive phase of industrialization and internalization, the same source adds.

Created in 2017, AVIDEA is a startup specialized in the digitalization of automotive claims management and the fight against fraud. Its main mission is to help insurance companies reduce the cost of car loss while providing a better user experience for their customers.
