Tunisia to receive $400 Million from WB for Vulnerable Households

The World Bank said on Tuesday it approved $400 million for Tunisia to help about 900,000 vulnerable Tunisian households cope with the health and economic impacts of the COVID-19 crisis. 3.1% growth in Tunisian economy in 2021

Tunisia’s economy has grown by 3.1% in 2021, with the booming mining and gas sectors helping it rebound from an 8.7% contraction in 2020, the national statistics institute said on Tuesday. The Tozeur II solar park was recently inaugurated in the presence of the Tunisian authorities, as well as officials from the Société tunisienne d’électricité et de gaz (Steg) and the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW).
