Ons Jabeur makes history with Madrid Open win

Ons Jabeur became Saturday the first Arab tennis player to win the Madrid Masters tournament, making history on the international tennis courts. Jabeur, 27, competed in this week’s Madrid Open against US player Jessica Pegula. She won the match and the tournament, making it the second title of Jabeur’s career after winning the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) title in Birmingham, UK last year.
