A press conference was held on Monday, May 9, 2022, at the Novotel Hotel at the Berges du Lac 2 in Tunis to present the 32nd Congress of the Association of French-speaking Dermatologists (ADF) which will take place from May 11 to 14 in Yasmine Hammamet in Tunisia.

This important scientific meeting will be jointly organized by the Tunisian Society of Dermatology and Venereology and the Association of French-speaking Dermatologists (ADF).

It will see the participation of nearly 600 specialists from about twenty French-speaking countries from various continents (Africa, Asia, Europe, and America), but also from English-speaking countries such as the USA, Australia, and East Africa.

It will be spread over 4 days and will include a total of ten themes: allergology, infectious diseases, pigmentary disorders, dermoscopy, mucous membrane pathology, vascular pathology, pediatric dermatology, aesthetic dermatology, lasers in dermatology, and news in dermatology.

The organization of this 32nd Congress of the Association of French-speaking Dermatologists will be coupled with the 26th Maghreb Congress of Dermatology.

Professor Mohamed Denguezli (President of the STDV) welcomed, in this context, the holding once again in Tunisia of this scientific event which has established itself for several years as a key meeting for hundreds of dermatologists.

He said in this context: “After many ups and downs and postponements due to the pandemic of COVID 19, it is with great pleasure that we host this conference which will represent an opportunity for important scientific exchanges,” before adding that this will be the third time that our country will have the opportunity to host this conference, after that of 1979 in Tunis and 2003 in Sfax.

“We are ready to meet the challenge, more, I am confident that this conference will exceed all our expectations and it will mark the spirits because we want to demonstrate that Tunisia remains a beautiful land of hospitality and that Tunisians are able to surpass themselves and show the best of themselves, especially in the scientific field.

Dr. Ben Salem added: “The organization of this conference is of particular importance for Tunisia because our country hosts the next Summit of the Francophonie in November 2022 in Djerba, during which the International Organization of the Francophonie celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of its creation. “
