Tunisian startup Expensya signs big deal with BNP Paribas

Tunisian startup Expensya and BNP Paribas announced Tuesday the launch of a joint product. It allows BNP Paribas customers to have an expense management solution.

Karim Jouini, CEO of Expensya, explains: “The BNP Paribas customer has the BNP Paribas payment card, the Expensya software and everything is integrated from end to end up to the CFO and accounting. Today, this gives access to more than 650 thousand cards in Europe. We will start with France. We will then roll out this solution to Belgium, Italy and hopefully Germany as well”.

A press release has already been published on June 14 by BNP Paribas. This partnership allows for a completely dematerialized management of expense reports.
The press release specifies the conditions for the application of this new feature. “This solution, linked to the BNP Paribas Corporate Card, allows, via a dedicated smartphone application, to automatically enter expense reports by scanning the receipts of the expenses concerned. The entire administrative processing of business expenses is thus streamlined between data entry, validation and controls thanks to the digitization of all receipts.

BNP Paribas called on Expensya to design this solution, which is based on their Smart Spend offer. It guarantees the highest standards of technology and security, including the management of predefined budgets, OCR+ (intelligent character recognition), validation processes and real-time expense tracking.

This new solution will be marketed in France throughout the BNP Paribas network from next September. Available this year for BNP Paribas Corporate cards, it will soon integrate Procurement and virtual cards to cover all payment solutions distributed to BNP Paribas corporate customers.”
