Tunisia: Emirates embassy celebrates national Day

The Embassy of the United Arab Emirtes to Tunisia hosted a ceremony to mark the 52st National Day, in the presence of a number of ministers and members of the diplomatic and consular missions accredited to Tunisia.

The ceremony was also marked by the presence of Tunisian political figures: party leaders, members of the House of People’s Representatives, businessmen, media professionals, representatives of civil society, heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions and international and regional organizations.

UAE Ambassador Dr. Eman Al Salami emphasized the in-depth nature of relations between the United Arab Emirates and Tunisia, stressing the promising prospects in many areas, in particular the economy and investment, and the promising prospects for their development in the interests of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.

In turn, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Tunisians Abroad Nabil Ammar expressed great satisfaction at the positive developments in the various aspects of cooperative relations between the two countries.

“We look forward to further expanding and enriching bilateral cooperation to include a number of promising new areas in which we rely on the role of the private sector as a key partner in supporting the cooperation process, further networking interests and establishing sustainable economic and investment partnerships that benefit both brotherly countries,” the Minister said.
