The 3rd edition of the International Tourism and Umrah Fair was inaugurated on Thursday, September 5 at the Convention Center in Tunis.
Organized by the Tunisian Federation of Travel Agencies (FTAV) and attended by some forty exhibitors from Tunisia, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, this event aims to promote umrah and hajj tourism, as well as Islamic heritage and civilization. Representatives from Algeria and Libya also took part in the fair.
According to Ahmed Betaieb, President of the Tunisian Federation of Travel Agencies, the aim of the show is to raise awareness of the Tunisian tourism product among various partners, particularly professionals operating in Saudi Arabia.
As part of the third edition of the Tunis International Exhibition for Tourism and Umrah, the Tunisian Association of Travel Agencies held a press conference at the Convention Center in Tunis.
The press conference reviewed the preparations of travel agencies for the 2024-2025 Umrah season, emphasizing the importance of dealing with accredited and legal travel agencies to ensure the rights of Umrah pilgrims, through an Umrah contract concluded between the agency and the pilgrim.
