The Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) is planning a roadshow for Tunisians expatriates as part of its presentation of the new Foreign Exchange Code.
Fethi Zouhair Nouri, Governor of the BCT, said that the roadshow would be organised once the new text had been adopted.
The aim of this initiative is to gather the expectations and suggestions of this diaspora.
The Governor stressed the importance of strengthening relations between Tunisia and its expatriate community.
He affirmed that the government and the BCT are working together to create a climate of confidence favourable to investment by Tunisians abroad. This cooperation encourages banks, financial institutions, and administrative structures to establish a secure environment that will enable Tunisians abroad to seize investment opportunities in Tunisia. The advantages they can obtain thanks to exchange regulations are a concrete example.
