Tunisian extremist deported from Italy

Italian authorities on Tuesday expelled a radical Tunisian Muslim who they said voiced support for the Islamic State jihadist group’s 2015 attacks on Paris and incited racial hatred and violence towards women. The 39-year-old Tunisian was deported from Malpensa airport in northern Italy aboard a flight to Tunis “for reasons of public security,” the interior ministry said.  “He displayed approval for (IS’s) November 2015 attacks on Paris,” the ministry stated. Tunis to restore abandoned Christian cemetery

Tunisian authorities are to restore a Christian cemetery which has been abandoned since the 2011 revolution and become a target of tomb-raiders, officials said on Monday. The governorate of Greater Tunis said it had been alerted last week of the state of decline of Carthage Byrsa cemetery in a northern suburb of the capital. TUNISAIR reports 10.8% increase in passenger traffic in February 2017

National airline TUNISAIR has recorded a 10.8% increase in passenger traffic in February 2017 compared to the same period in 2016. Passenger traffic grew from 18,078 to 200,584 passengers. The other indicator is regular traffic, which increased by 8.7% from 177,423 to 192,903 passengers. Additional traffic increased from 535 passengers to 1017 passengers.
