The 41st edition of the Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) will open on the 20th November with a MENA premiere gala screening of Martin Scorsese’s eagerly-awaited ‘The Irishman’ starring Academy Award winners Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci at the prestigious Cairo Opera House. Date production expected to beat all records this year

The date production this year is expected to beat all records with a very good quality yield estimated at 340 thousand tonnes, against 289 thousand tonnes in 2018 and 305 thousand tonnes in 2017, Director General of Agricultural Production at the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries Ezzeddine Chalghef told TAP in an interview.
