Eni signs MoU to investigate castor cultivation for sustainable biofuels in Tunisia

Italian energy giant Eni has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Societè National de Distribution des Petroles (SNDP) in Tunisia, to collaboration on the cultivation of castor to be used to produce sustainable biofuels, Biofuels International reported. Tunisian inflation slows to 6.3% year/year in November

Tunisia’s annual inflation rate fell to 6.3% in November from 6.5% in October, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) reported Wednesday. In September the inflation was at 6.7%. EBRD supports SMEs with €5 million loan

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Compagnie Internationale de Leasing (CIL) inked a €5 million financing agreement on Tuesday in Tunis to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Tunisia on November 27 signed the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement for Country-by-Country Reporting, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD announced. The multilateral agreement provides a standardized mechanism for exchanging country tax administrations annual information about large multinational groups.
