Armenia, which hosted the 2018 La Francophonie Summit, transferred the chairmanship of the Summit to Tunisia at the end of the meeting of member states and ministers of governments of the International Organization of La Francophonie held in Monaco on October 30-31 on the sidelines of the 36th ministerial conference of La Francophonie. The meeting was chaired by Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and OIF Secretary-General Louise Mushikiwabo.
