Some 1800 teachers to benefit from Teaching for Success Tunisia program

Some 1800 teachers will benefit from this first phase of the virtual program “Teaching for Success, Tunisia”, the British Council Tunisia announces in a press release made public Tuesday, October 13.

With the new school year of 2020-2021, Teaching for Success Tunisia continues the training in an adequate format respecting the health protocol, says the same source.

Moreover, continues the British Council Tunisia, “this new edition of the training program aims to support English language teachers of the 5th primary year”.

This new training cycle begins on October 12, 2020, at a distance with about 40 international experts, in collaboration with Tunisian teaching assistants. To this end, teachers have received tablets with an internet connection to be able to follow the training fairly. Thus, all participants will benefit from the necessary equipment.

This training aims to strengthen the capacity of elementary school teachers, as well as the methodology of teaching English language to students in the 5th grade. In order to improve the quality of public education in Tunisia. The British Council Tunisia believes that all teachers of English for the 5th grade in Tunisia can benefit from this training.
