The Cairo International Film Festival announced the opening of applications for filmmakers’ registration in the third edition of Cairo Film Industry Days, which will be held from 4 to 7 December next, within the activities of the 42nd session of the Cairo International Film Festival (from 2 to 10 December). The registration provides film and television professionals with a set of important professional services, including attending seminars and lectures, which provide Arab talents with strong opportunities to partner with the international film community, with the aim of providing greater support to Arab cinema.
Every professional can obtain daily tickets to watch film screenings at the festival, and registration remains open until November 26.
In an official statement, the festival management said: The Cairo Festival pledges to provide a safe environment during the 42nd session, and to adhere to all standards and procedures set by the World Health Organization and the Egyptian government, in order to preserve the health and safety of the public and filmmakers, and to protect them from the risk of infection with the Coronavirus, and these will be announced.
