Berlinale Talents is a Berlin International Film Festival’s talent development programme for the world’s top 200 emerging filmmakers and series creators.
It is aimed at emerging film actors, audience designers (i.e. curators, cinema or festival makers), composers, cinematographers, directors, distributors, editors, film critics, producers, production designers, sales agents, screenwriters and sound designers with an existing portfolio of work.
Berlinale Talents is celebrating its 20th birthday. Since 2003, the Berlinale’s multidisciplinary talent initiative has grown to nearly 10,000 alumni and has actively shaped the industry with this community of thirteen film trades. From 12-17 February 2022, a new cohort of 200 Talents from over 70 countries joins the fold: connecting them digitally worldwide to broaden horizons and to inspire the wider film community.
