Ooredoo Night Run by Xiaomi: First night sports event of Ramadan in Tunisia

“Ooredoo night Run” is a foot race that has been launched in partnership with the mobile phone brand Xiaomi.

Scheduled for Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Habib Bourguiba Avenue, the “Ooredoo night Run by Xiaomi” competition will be an opportunity for sports enthusiasts to participate in a brand new experience during the holy month, marked by a particularly festive atmosphere.

“This competition is for runners of all ages and categories. It aims to offer Tunisians an opportunity to enjoy themselves during the month of Ramadan and to liven up the main avenue of Tunis, especially after two years of the pandemic,” said Mansoor Rashid Al Khater, CEO of Ooredoo Tunisia on this occasion.

The official also said that Ooredoo has organized a complete program consisting of two races (5km and 10 km) on Bourguiba Avenue with a circuit to the Berges du Lac for a round trip as well as a series of cultural and recreational activities that will be accompanied by many prizes to win. A third 2 km race for children will then be launched.

“Social commitment and sport are the main values of Ooredoo Tunisia, and this has been proven throughout the year with our partnership with the Tunisian National Olympic Committee, Club Africain and many other sports clubs in the country. And based on these convictions, we decided to organise a large sports gathering and we chose a symbolic location in the heart of the Tunisian capital, to raise awareness of the importance of sport and good practices during the month of Ramadan. We thank our partner Xiaomi for its effective participation and we hope that this event will be an annual meeting with Tunisians and sports lovers,” said the General Manager of Ooredoo Tunisia.”
