Voice of Gazans: journalist Wael Al-Dahdouh in Tunisia

Director of Al Jazeera’s Tunis bureau, Lotfi Hajji, revealed, via a post on his official Facebook page, that Wael Al-Dahdouh, Al Jazeera’s Gaza bureau chief and correspondent, is visiting Tunisia.

Wael Al. Dahdouh shares his experience with The Institute of Information Sciences (IPSI) students.

Such a meeting is part of the program of Al Jazeera ambassadors organized between the Tunisian Institute of Press and Information Sciences (IPSI) and the National Union of Tunisian Journalists (SNJT). It offers the occasion to raise awareness of the ongoing suffering and tragedy of people who made enormous sacrifices and experienced longer soreness, patience and Wael Al. Dahdouh one of the great people remains committed that all the sacrifice would not be in vain.

All welcome to the prominent journalist who has covered his homeland’s conflicts over the past 25 years, a tough experience in which he displayed a crucial part of the long fate of his Palestinian people as one of suffering and some tragic stories of all the bloody wars and these unspeakable historical covering as well as realities of this unprecedented scale of death and destruction under the sky of Gaza.

Wael Al-Dahdouh has suffered heavy personal losses during the war waged by the Israeli occupying forces in Gaza since the ‘Flood of Al-Aqsa’ operation on October 7, 2023.

Wael Al-Dahdouh, this fearless journalist embodies the unshakeable spirit of those who dedicate their lives to the search for the truth, even at the risk of their own lives.

He is an informed witness to the atrocious war that has been raging in Gaza for months. His insight into these events of destruction and genocide offers a unique and enlightened perspective, transcending statistics to reveal the humanity behind the horrors.

Amid the turbulence of conflict, Wael El-Dahdouh not only reported the facts; he resisted threats, defying the forces that sought to stifle the voice of truth.
