Algeria for inclusive dialogue, against any foreign intervention in Libya says Algerian Minister

In a statement to reporters on the sidelines of the 4th plenary session of the working group of the Global Counterterrorism Forum (GCTF) on Strengthening Border-Related Counter-Terrorism Capacities in the Sahel (GTS) held in Algiers, Minister of Maghreb Affairs, the African Union and the Arab League Abdelkader Messahel, reaffirmed, Monday in Algiers, Algeria’s position regarding the non-interference in political affairs of Libya and the rejection of any foreign intervention in the resolution of the crisis in Libya voicing commitment to preserve  the  unity, sovereignty, safety and stability of Libya”.

In his respond to the controversial as regards the presence of a U.S. military bases in Tunisia, Messahal said” this issue is internal and does not concern Algeria. Some countries need international or foreign accompanying partners especially in the field of training to counter and to fight the phenomenon of terrorism.

Such political clarification by one of Algerian policymakers can dispels doubt on this delicate subject between both countries and boost relationship in this crucial period they are going through.
