Med.Tn, Doctor booking platform, raises over $650,000

Med.Tn a Tunisian doctor booking platform has raised a bit over $650,000, about 2 million Tunisian Dinars, in funding from one of country’s leading insurance companies, Carte Groupe. The Start-up Med.Tn had first announced the round in December last year and closed it last month. Founded by Tunisians Aymen Turki, Issam Bellaj, and Emna Jellouli in 2017, Med.Tn connects users with different healthcare providers including doctors, pharmacies, and laboratories. AMU relaunches its Trans-Maghreb railway project

The Arab Maghreb Union (AMU) has received the financial support of the African Development Bank (AfDB) to fund the preparatory activities of the Trans-Maghreb rail project linking Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia. This was announced by the union in a statement released on February 4, 2019. Late January, the union launched “an international call for application to recruit an individual consultant (or a firm’s representative) for the marketing of the Transmaghreb railroad renovation and modernization study”.
