Tourism Ministry and Thomas Cook to ink partnership agreement soon (Statement)

The Ministry of Tourism and representatives of international tour operator “Thomas Cook” have agreed to sign a partnership accord in May to restore tourism business with the UK market, Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts René Trabelsi said Thursday in Sousse. The agreement will spread over three years (from 2020 to 2022), he added.

Representatives of British travel agencies “Thomas Cook” expressed will to promote Tunisia as a tourist destination, especially as the security situation has improved, the minister told TAP on the sidelines of a working session held at the headquarters of the governorate of Sousse, in the presence of tourism professionals.

The Ministry projects the arrival of about 100 thousand British tourists, through the UK travel giant in summer 2019.
