Enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) startup InstaDeep has raised a $7-million Series-A round led by Tunisian private equity firm AfricInvest, ventureburn reports. Endeavor Catalyst — the co-investment fund of Endeavor, a non-profit organisation that supports high-impact entrepreneurs around the world — also participated in the round which the startup announced in a statement last Tuesday on May 7. FAO-GIZ: Cooperation agreement for solar energy projects in Tunisia

A cooperation agreement to implement projects related to the use of solar energy in agriculture in Tunisia was concluded on Thursday between the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ).
