SITIC Africa 2019 opens in Tunis

The 4th International Exhibition of Information and Communication Technologies Africa 2019 (SITIC2019) opened, on Tuesday in Tunis, to strengthen triangular partnership in ICT between Tunisia, Western countries and Africa.

The new edition, organised from June 18 to 20, 2019, at El Kram Exhibition Centre in Tunis aims to enhance the Tunisian site as an open portal on Africa, while placing emphasis on the capacities of Tunisian companies active in the digital field.

It also aims to develop the North-South-South partnership, in order to boost investment and export and create job positions.

The new edition was opened by Minister of Communication Technologies and Digital Economy, Anouar Maârouf, accompanied by the Minister of International Co-operation and the Francophonie of Quebec, the Minister of the Digital Economy of Senegal, the Minister of Information Technology of Djibouti and the Vice President of Huawei Corporation.

Over 10 thousand professionals from Tunisia and Western countries and Africa, will visit this three-day event.

Major business delegations from Algeria, Germany, Belgium, Canada, France and Italy are participating in the show.

The event will mainly include the presentation of a complete offer of ICT in Tunisia.

SITIC Africa 2019 gathers more than 200 Tunisian, African, Arab and foreign exhibitors in the field of ICT.

An area of ​​international exhibitors is also set up to promote triangular cooperation between Tunisia, Western countries and Africa.

Besides, B2B meetings, forums and workshops will be organised on topical ICT topics in Africa and Western countries on the fringes of the show.
