New platform “Men_Dari” and increase of broadband launched by TT

Tunisie Telecom announced on Monday the launch of its new #Men_Dari platform designed to accompany Tunisians during the period of total lockdown decreed by the Tunisian authorities to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

At an online press briefing held on Monday, Tunisie Telecom’s interim CEO, Khalil Laabidi, explained that #Men_Dari, accessible via the code USSD*190#, brings together the services and packages launched to meet the needs of Tunisians during this period of total containment, including free access to some forty sites including university and education sites under the supervision of the Ministry of Education to enable students and pupils to access distance learning platforms.

Laabidi said that Tunisie Telecom has also increased in recent days its international bandwidth to over 350 Gbs, an increase of about 22% of the international bandwidth. An increase that has led to a significant improvement in the speed of navigation, we learn from the same source.

A campaign “Sayyeb the Internet” was launched on social networks calling on the operator to provide free and unlimited Internet to all Internet users who are obliged to stay at home.

TT specifies that providing free internet to all users will impact the quality of the connection. The only concern of the national operator is to guarantee good quality Internet to all users throughout the national territory, stresses the interim CEO.
