COVID-19: Tunisia deploys robots to enforce total lockdown

The Interior Ministry has deployed robots to enforce the country’s lockdown and help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

The Remote-controlled vehicles of ENOVA Robotics are patrolling the streets of Tunis in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.

“Our goal is always to be close to the needs of safety and health through technology and innovation”, Anis Sahbani creator of the revolutionary robot said.

In a series of videos that have been widely shared on social media, Tunisians have been approached by remote-controlled vehicles asking if they’re aware of lockdown rules.

The Tunisian government has implemented a series of policies in order to help stop the spread of the coronavirus, known as COVID-19.
