Tunisia JOBS and Edhiafa association signed a partnership agreement aimed to meet the problems related to COVID-19 and its impact on the tourism sector and hotels.
This agreement will help Edhiafa association to make the most of means to support the business resilience of the sector of Tunisian small and boutique hotels during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
To achieve this goal, regulatory reform and advocacy experts will be hired to back up Edhiafa Association’s efforts to identify and help resolve regulatory barriers, Tunisia JOBS said in a statement on Tuesday.
Technical support will also be provided to help the Edhiafa association develop and implement activities that generate sustainable revenues.
These activities include, marketing, promotion and management of the online booking platform, as well as the growth and retention of the Edhiafa Association’s membership base.
Founded in 2011, Edhiafa is an active association in Tunisia that promotes alternative tourism. It brings together and federates the sector’s actors who are mainly owners of small accommodation (guest houses, bed and breakfasts, boutique hotels and campsites, etc.) who advocate for responsible tourism, respectful of the environment, heritage and cultures in Tunisia.
