An unprecedented new asset for the success of young Tunisian entrepreneurs is materialized through an an excellent initiative for young companies and innovative Tunisian startups who will find in a new space, the Dot, a place of exchange, sharing and coworking.
Thanks to the various services that will be offered to accelerate the digital transformation of public institutions, the industry sector and civil society, The Dot will contribute to prepare the economy of tomorrow and work towards a paperless administration.
For the first time in Tunisia, young entrepreneurs will be able to access, in one place, unique and innovative services that will allow them to increase their skills and to carry out their often ambitious projects: a public services corner to provide them with the necessary information and advice, a Business Corner to support partnerships and investments, creative spaces for events and trainings, a podcast and webinar studio, an Industry 4. 0 Hub to support companies in implementing digital solutions, a Public Innovation Lab working on concrete digital projects with public institutions, a newly established AI Hub working on advanced technologies based on artificial intelligence and workspaces for selected start-ups.
During the event, an agreement was signed between the four stakeholders who have each contributed to the creation of The Dot: Smart Tunisia, the project’s pilot, under the aegis of the Ministry of Communication Technologies, Expertise France, which is financing the programme through the European Union, GIZ Tunisia, which is financing through the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and the Fondation Tunisie pour le Développement, which is providing the premises and resources.
The Dot will very quickly become a technological showcase with national and international influence, which will highlight the many success stories that will be created there.
