Foreign Minister, Othman Al-Jarandi, has renewed his country’s support for completing the Libyan political track to achieve security and stability, without any external interference in the country’s internal affairs as he met with Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity, Najla Al-Manqoush, in New York.
For her part, Al-Manqoush briefed her Tunisian counterpart on the latest developments in the situation in Libya, praising Tunisia’s positions in support of the political settlement process and its permanent support for the Libyans.
The two sides also discussed ways to support and strengthen bilateral relations in the interest of both countries and in response to regional and international challenges that require more coordination of positions, says the Tunisian Foreign Ministry in a statement.
