Tunisian Tourism revenues up 86 %

The Central Bank of Tunisia announced that the country’s tourism revenue rose by 86 % from the beginning of the year to September 20 and exceeded 3 billion dinars.

According to the latest published monetary and financial indicators, the Central Bank recorded a 15.6 % increase in accumulated labour income, from 5.5 billion dinars in September 2021 to 6.4 billion dinars now.

On the other hand, the total service of external debt decreased by 29 % and stopped at the level of 6.1 billion dinars.

The Central Bank reported that Tunisia’s net foreign exchange asset reserves increased positively on 23 September 2022 to reach approximately RSD 23.8 billion (equivalent to 112 supply days) compared to RSD 19.7 billion (122 supply days) during the same period from 2021.

The total volume of bank refinancing exceeded 11.9 billion dinars as of September 22, 2022, an increase of 10.6 % compared to the same period in 2021.
