Tunisian guide honoured for saving Italian lives at Bardo museum
Earlier this week, Hamadi ben Abdesslem, the Tunisian guide who saved 45 Italian tourists during the 2015 terrorist attack by Isis on the Bardo National Museum in Tunis, was honoured in in the Garden of the Righteous, a new commemorative site in Milan. Germany deports 22 Tunisians including Islamic State suspect
A German state government has deported 22 failed asylum seekers to Tunisia, one of whom is suspected of membership in the Islamic State terrorist group, officials said Wednesday. The Interior Ministry of Saxony, the eastern state which conducted the deportations, said that eight of the 22 deportees had been in police custody before boarding a flight from Dresden to Tunisia. Tunisian Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui on Wednesday visited Baghdad to discuss regional developments — especially the fight against terrorism — with Iraqi officials.
