Minister of Religious Affairs Ahmed Adhoum met, Thursday in Tunis, with Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid, Advisor to the Royal Court in Saudi Arabia, member of the Supreme Judiciary Council, Head of the Islamic Fiqh Academy in Jeddah and Imam Preacher of the Grand Holy Mosque in Makkah.
The cooperation and fraternal relations were the focus of the meeting with the Imam preacher of the Grand Mosque, which was attended by the Kingdom’s ambassador in Tunis Mohamed bin Mahmoud Al Ali and the delegation accompanying them, a statement of the Ministry reads.
Minister of Religious Affairs Ahmed Adhoum stressed the “depth of the cooperation ties” binding Tunisia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and ways to strengthen these ties in various areas, especially in the religious field, according to the ministry’s statement.
For his part, the Imam Preacher of the Grand Holy Mosque in Makkah expressed his “pride for this visit to Tunisia commending the distinguished scientists who have enriched the religious thought and the human heritage in general with their published studies and works.”
