Independent candidate Kais Saïd and Qalb Tounes (Heart of Tunisia) candidate Nabil Karoui reached the presidential runoff election, the Independent High Authority for the Elections (ISIE) announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Kais Saïd is leading in the first round of the early presidential election with 620,711 votes (18.4%), while Nabil Karoui collected 525,517 (15.6%), according to the preliminary results announced by ISIE.

ISIE President Nabil Baffoun said the filing of legal challenges against the preliminary results of the 1st round of the presidential election is scheduled for September 18 and 19.
