Libya set to transfer one billion euros to Tunisian account (Minister of Social Affairs)

Minister of Social Affairs, Mohamed Trabelsi, revealed that Libya intends to grant Tunisia a loan, estimated at approximately one billion euros, to be transferred to the Central Bank of Tunisia.

In a statement to Al-Shorouk newspaper, Trabelsi explained that the Libyan loan will help to strengthen Tunisia’s complex currency reserves in these difficult circumstances.

He also described his recent visit to Tripoli, in which he was accompanied by Prime Minister, Hicham Mechichi, as a very significant visit, which broke the deadlock in Tunisia’s relationship with Libya, during which important decisions were reached.

Regarding the labour market, Trabelsi said that the Libyan market would soon be open to all Tunisians in many fields.
