The second edition of the African Medical Tourism Congress “AMTC TUNISIA 2021” will take place from 25 to 27 November 2021, at Hotel Le Palace Gammarth Tunis, under the patronage of the Ministries of Tourism and Public Health.
It is an African medical and professional event dedicated to health and medical tourism in the presence of over 20 delegations from Arab and African countries.

The meeting is presented as a platform to develop exchanges and partnerships in all branches of the health and tourism sectors, through “B to B” meetings, workshops and conferences with African and Arab decision-makers.
The gathering will also address the challenges faced by this sector during the Covid-19 crisis and the obstacles that stand in the way of the movement of Africans in the context of medical tourism to Tunisia, such as the visa problem, transportation problems and other axes.
This meeting aims to promote the Tunisian destination as one of the most prominent medical tourism destinations, thanks to the competencies and quality services enjoyed by health institutions, as well as the natural resources.
The conference contains an exhibition hall that includes 40 exhibitors from many participating countries such as Turkey, Jordan, India, Italy, Ukraine, Poland and others, in addition to the participation of many African delegations coming from Algeria, Libya, Egypt and Sudan, Senegal, Niger, Ivory Coast, Togo and Congo.
The first session of the African Conference on Medical Tourism was held in April 2019.
